Kennedy to head up domestic sales at Brent

Mick Kennedy has been promoted to the post of ‘Head of Sales – UK and Ireland’ at Brent Sales. The move follows on from the announcement that John McKenzie is stepping up to the role of Managing Director at Namco Europe as from 1st January 2007.

49-year-old Kennedy joined Brent Sales as Regional Sales Manager in 2003, having gained two decades of industry experience with Cromptons and Crown. He has been instrumental in the development of Brent’s customer base of family operators, particularly in coastal regions.

Commenting on the appointment, John McKenzie said: “Mick is a very experienced salesman and is a popular character in the field. He will now be responsible for strengthening our sales team and continue to build profile nationwide. I am personally very pleased for Mick.”

Mick Kennedy added: “I look forward to this very exciting challenge and aim to bring more well-known faces into the Brent stable in the near future.”
