Brent Sales making an exhibition of themselves
Exhibiting under the trademark corporate banner of NAMCO BANDAI Games, Brent Sales and Namco Europe will be exhibiting in excess of 50 machines from ten companies across 12 product groups in what must be the most diverse stand at ATEI 2007. From NAMCO BANDAI and Raw Thrills video through ICE and 5 Star redemption games to a variety of cranes, kiddie rides, photo-booths, simulators, pushers, SWPs, prize vendors and sports-themed games from world-class developers, Brent’s claim to being an ‘exhibition within an exhibition’ is underscored at every turn.
Described as a ‘virtual jump rope lightchaser game’, Namco’s Jumpin’ Jackpot represents a whole new genre of arcade fun that puts physical fitness, co-ordination, timing and stamina to the test. Players are asked to jump a light as it spins around a circular light-bed and spell out ‘Jackpot’ to win bonus tickets - players can select three different jackpot levels by inserting multiple coins. Jumping Jackpot’s solid state design and absence of moving parts ensures years of reliable service and, predicts managing director John McKenzie, the game is destined to be the funkiest and brightest at ATEI. Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 is the first game for Europe which utilizes the full benefits of the Bandai-Namco synergy, with key characters from the Pac-Man and Tamagotchi stables joining Nintendo’s motley crew of Mario et al in one of the world’s best known fun driving games. An innovative new feature in the game is the addition of live play-by-play commentary which really “amplifies” the fun of the game. Suitable for all ages, MKAGP2 features a camera above the monitor, the 'Nam Cam', which projects the player’s face onto the screen. It is linkable for up to four players with games sold as a twin unit. Magic Hand from ICE is a true skill coin pusher with ticket payout that asks players to finger their coin towards the Bonus Ramp and into a centre hole, win the jackpot payout and kick-start a thrilling show on a vibrant 17’’ flat screen. Magic Hand shows three different ‘magic trick’ attract modes, while quick coin play, unique and exciting bonus features, an imaginative circular playfield, exceptional lighting and superior graphics give it the thumbs up. Haunted Mansion is a head-turning, spine-chilling redemption game from California’s 5 Star Gaming. Available in one, two or three player units with optional Mansion Topper and top railing, Haunted Mansion dares players to creep up through a series of floors, negotiating creepy spiders, booby traps, secret passages and ‘Go Zones’ along the way to winning the Attic Jackpot. Fun and challenging for all ages, Haunted Mansion will have players screaming, with excitement. Commenting on the Brent/Namco presence at ATEI, John McKenzie said: “Visitors to our stand will be bowled over by a multitude of new and exciting games which will form the backbone of income revenue throughout 2007. In addition, we have proven AAA games in Time Crisis 4 and Super Bikes, which continue to dominate machine charts; sleeping giants such as Big Buck Hunter Pro; high volume product lines including Brent’s X-Factor Bright crane; and novel innovations like Bowl-O-Rama and the new Rollerball SWP.” |
