Brent maintains video stronghold
Brent Sales enters the summer season riding high with arguably the strongest compendium of top performing videogames available anywhere in the industry.
Following hot on the heels of Raw Thrills’ highly successful predecessor, The Fast and the Furious, F&F Drift is the latest addition to the Brent stable. Game personalisation via keypad PIN entry is providing operators with an additional revenue stream, with up to 25 per cent of cashbox generated in this way. Namco's flagship video driver, Mario Kart Arcade GP2 continues to shine having proved extremely popular at this year's ATEI, selling out its initial production quota by noon of the second day. Parent company Namco Europe began its second production run at the end of May and is picking up an increasing number of orders for the Super Deluxe format, comprising a bank of four machines set on an illuminated stage with large digital display hoardings and overhead screens for onlookers to enjoy the action. This centrepiece attraction is producing income enhanced by up to 40 per cent in some locations. The racing game stable is rounded out by Raw Thrills' dynamic motorbike simulator Super Bikes, also available in a Super Deluxe Format. Brent’s line-up of shooting titles continues to deliver, with Time Crisis 4 Deluxe about to start its third production run. Namco’s popular sequel is reportedly out earning every other shooter on the market by up to 40 per cent, and is boasting a return on investment over 10-15 weeks at many sites. Raw Thrills' Big Buck Hunter Pro is also proving a savvy investment; with a cost-effective price tag and small footprint, the game is garnering big returns in the arcades. |
