Brent/Namco secures blockbuster shooter for European debut at EAG

Brent Sales/Namco Europe has added to its already dominant presence at EAG by securing the exclusive distribution rights (UK, EMEA, CIS and surrounding territories) to Raw Thrills/Play Mechanix Terminator Salvation, widely regarded as the most compelling arcade shooter of 2010.

From the makers of Big Buck Hunter, Fast and Furious, Superbikes and H2Overdrive, Terminator Salvation is based on one of the all-time, best selling sci-fi franchises. A powerful, high traffic centrepiece, the game is adorned with glowing neon rifle holders and a replica T-600 robot marquee topper. An impressive 42-inch LCD screen puts players right on the firing line as droves of T-600 robots attempt to thwart their resistance.

Heavy-duty recoiling rifles, including a new 'clip' action reload feature, adds a depth of realism unparalleled in any arcade shooter. Players can add to their arsenal of weapons by securing a number of different and powerful devices to aid them in battling a variety of menacing combatants throughout the game.

John Brennan, Commercial Director at Brent/Namco believes that Terminator has all of the credentials to be a massive hit with arcade players. He explained: "Not only does the game benefit from the brand values of the Terminator movie but it also has huge visual presence and kerb appeal. The clip action reload is a fantastically compelling feature which gives the game a very healthy level of repeat play. Not only will Terminator Salvation be one of the highlights of EAG, we are confident that it will be one of the highlights of the year ahead."
